The High Gain Award recognizes exceptional contributions to raising the external profile of the department, particularly in research. It was established in 2007 by the department's External Advisory Committee to honor faculty.
2010
Seth Bank
Dr. Seth Bank was awarded the External Advisory Committee's High Gain Award for excellence and accomplishment in the ECE industry. Professor Seth Bank has been recognized repeatedly for his outstanding research over the past two semesters. Over the past 8 months, he has been awarded a Young Investigator Award from the Office for Naval Research, an NSF CAREER Award, a 2009 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers, an award from the Air Force's Young Investigator Research Program, as well as the Young Scientist Award at the 36th International Symposium on Compound Semiconductors.
