<div class='abstract'><p>Introduction and analysis of power quality and harmonic phenomena in electric power systems: characteristics and definitions, voltage sags, electrical transients, harmonics, mitigation techniques, standards of power quality and harmonics. The equivalent of three lecture hours a week for one semester. Electrical Engineering 362Q and 379K (Topic: Power Quality and Harmonics) may not both be counted. Prerequisite: Electrical Engineering 438 or 331 with a grade of at least C.</p></div>
