Don't miss the Texas Instruments tech talk, faculty-led break-out sessions, or careers panel. The event is generously supported by Texas Instruments, and will include lunch, a brownie break, prizes, and more!

Open House Schedule

Opening Remarks & Career Panel

10 - 11 AM (POB 2.402)
Welcome remarks with Dr. Ahmed Tewfik, followed by a moderated panel with ECE Faculty, advising staff, alums and TI representatives to answer quetsions about choosing technical cores, graduate school, and building a strong resume. Coffee and cookies will be served. 

Lunch and Learn with TI

11:30 AM - 1 PM (Etter-Harbin Alumni Center Connally Ballroom)
Network and mingle with Texas Instruments engineers over lunch.

Career Fair Prep & Resume Review with Texas Instruments

4 - 5:30 PM (POB 2.402)
TI Engineers will provide tips for preparing for the upcoming Engineering Career Expo. Students are encouraged to bring their resume and elevator pitch to share with TI and get feedback. Also, students can enjoy coffee, brownies and door prize drawings.

Adrian Fernandez

Microcontroller Customer Experience Manager
Texas Instruments

Adrian Fernandez is the Microcontroller Customer Experience Manager at Texas Instruments. In his role, he is responsible for defining the microcontroller development ecosystem and augmenting the ways developers interact with TI’s microcontroller portfolio, with heavy focus on growing and improving TI’s LaunchPad Rapid Prototyping Development Platform. Adrian holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, concentrating on embedded systems and digital signal processing. He lives with his wife Ellen & pug Ollie in Dallas, TX.
