Click Fraud and Traffic Quality Modeling for Online Advertising

Internet advertising has been growing fast in the last decade and driving a lot of new research in data mining, machine learning, information retrieval, pricing, and microeconomics. Click Forensics is a local startup company that provides ad click fraud detection and traffic scoring service and technology to online advertising companies (i.e., publishers, ad networks and advertisers). Dr. Zhong will discuss several interesting data mining problems that Click Forensics is working on, including click fraud detection, conversion prediction, keywords categorization and ad targeting segmentation, highlighting the challenges and solutions.
