Rob Zivney (UT BSEE ’73) will lead an interactive discussion on what it takes to be successful post-graduation. Beginning with the first interview, then transitioning into what works on the job, Mr. Zivney will examine topics not typically taught in school, including building a personal brand, marketing “You, Inc.,” leadership, quality of life, self-improvement, perceptions, objectivity, and goal setting. Drawing on 42 years of experience in developing and marketing electronic building automation and security systems, he will address lessons learned from the perspective of an employee, a manager, and a corporate executive.

Refreshments will be provided, and a few lucky attendees will win fun ECE-branded items in our door prize drawing. Follow this event on Facebook!
