A new series of Texas ECE career exploration events with alumni featuring panels of practicing engineers who want to share their experiences with students.

Distinguished panelists include Derek Chiou, Partner Architect & Research Scientist, Microsoft Azure/UT; Mike Thomson, Senior Engineer, Centaur Technology; Michael Klock, Senior GPU Architect, ARM, and Nicholas Malaya, Senior Staff Scientist, AMD.

Panelists will describe their roles; what tools, classes, or professional experiences were integral to success; applications of the technologies they work on and their importance; why accelerators are important at their companies, and tips for getting hired. Students have the opportunity to ask questions!
