Step One: Choose an Academic Track
UT ECE offers 11 different Academic Tracks of study. All applicants to Graduate School in UT ECE are required to choose a primary academic track of study. It is important that you research our academic tracks carefully and thoroughly in order to learn which track best fits your research interests and academic goals.

1 Please note that The University's Department of Biomedical Engineering also offers a degree in the major of Biomedical Engineering. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a degree in Biomechanical Engineering. These programs are not the same as the Academic Track within ECE.
2 The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers degrees in Dynamic Systems and Control and in Manufacturing and Design. These programs are not the same as the Academic Track within ECE.
