EE 392N: Principles of Radar

Fundamentals of radar, with an emphasis on electromagnetics and signal processing. Includes radar range equation, antennas, propagation and target scattering, matched filter, ambiguity function, waveform design, pulse compression, microwave imaging, synthetic aperture radar, and inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR). Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Electrical Engineering 383V (Topic: Radar Principles) and 392N may not both be counted.
