The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (UT ECE) at The University of Texas at Austin Is Open For Business!
UT ECE, a top ranked department and the largest department in the Cockrell School of Engineering with almost 2000 students, provides an Industrial Relations office to facilitate industry needs, interests and partnerships, and to provide a focused point of contact for industry.
Winning the competitive talent race in a top ranked technology department requires thoughtfully crafted recruiting partnership strategies. UT ECE offers a number of mutually beneficial programs geared to long and short term pipeline recruiting - consider us your recruiting GPS!
Research collaborations to meet industry needs for research and development can be developed through win-win strategies and strong faculty/industry relationships. Let us know your research interests and we'll facilitate meetings and research exchanges.
In addition to innovative research and recruiting programs, some of UT ECE's exciting initiatives are the Solar Car Competition team, the Edison Lecture series, the Senior Design Projects, the Move Forward program for at-risk students, a study abroad program, and active student organizations. Companies with programmatic interests such as STEM initiatives, at-risk students, international studies or underrepresented student populations are invited to partner with UT ECE in these areas to affect greater change.
Whatever the need or interest, UT ECE is "open for business" and is committed to working with companies and alumni to develop beneficial working relationships and partnerships that advance both business and department goals as well as advance the electrical and computer engineering fields.
