The ECE Connect Program
The ECE Connect program is your recruiting GPS! Industry supports a top ranked department, it's students and it's initiatives while UT ECE provides navigation and facilitated access to department and university resources and relationships that build a recruiting pipeline. The consistent nature of the Connect partnership allows academia and industry to learn from each other while growing mutually supportive relationships that meet strategic goals. Program features include:
- Strategic development of a recruiting road map
- Brand building campaigns
- Event logistics and support
- Student and faculty relationship facilitation
Senior Design Projects
Underwriting and mentoring a two semester Senior Design Project offers a unique opportunity to work with and recruit top seniors while working as a team on an industry-defined problem.
Partnerships
Supporting ECE student programs can round out your recruiting strategy by building deep, personal relationships with students and faculty and providing extensive brand visibility. Options include
- Equipping and naming a lab space
- Funding scholarships or fellowships with interview or internship opportunities
- Supporting the Solar Vehicle Team, a STEM and at-risk student initiative
- Underwriting the Edison Lecture Series, a STEM initiative
- Underwriting at-risk student initiatives such as the Move Forward Program, the Summer Success Camp for incoming freshmen, and the tutoring program
- Supporting study abroad scholarships
