Four students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin’s Cockrell School of Engineering have been recognized with the Halliburton Foundation’s 2015 ECE Bridge Scholars Award. The award winners are Alexander Ma, Crystal McDuffie, Matthew Musgrove, and Edilio Vera.

The Halliburton Foundation provided a merit based award of $500 to four ECE Bridge Scholars who earned the highest GPA during the UT Austin 2015 Summer Bridge Program – their first semester in college.

The newly launched Bridge Scholars Program is designed to prepare a select group of newly-admitted students for the rigors of college-level instruction.
