UT ECE is Open for Business

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at The University of Texas at Austin Is Open For Business!

UT ECE, a top ranked department and the largest department in the Cockrell School of Engineering with almost 2000 students, has established an Industrial Relations office to facilitate industry needs and interests. For technology recruiting, research, or program interests, UT ECE is Open for Business!

While career fairs, interviews and info sessions are scheduled with ECAC, partnering with UT ECE at the department level can support your recruiting efforts with deeper and broader facilitated relationships and involvement in department life.

Research collaborations to meet industry needs for research and development can be developed through win-win strategies and strong faculty/industry relationships. Let us know your research interests and we’ll facilitate meetings and research exchanges.

In addition to innovative research, some of ECE's exciting initiatives are the Solar Car Competition team, the Edison Lecture series, the Senior Design Projects, the Move Forward program for at-risk students, a study abroad program, and active student organizations. Companies with programmatic interests such as STEM initiatives, at-risk students, international studies or underrepresented student populations are invited to partner with ECE in these areas to affect greater change.

Whatever the need or interest, ECE is committed to working with companies and alumni to develop beneficial working relationships and partnerships that advance both business and department goals.
