UT ECE is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Vijay Reddi to our faculty beginning September 2011.
Dr. Vijay Janapa Reddi is a PhD graduate from the Computer Science department at Harvard University. He is now a member of AMD Research and Advanced Development Laboratories. Dr. Reddi has worked at other industry leading companies that include Intel, Microsoft and VMware. He is also a Visiting Lecturer on Computer Science and an Associate of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. His research interests are in the area of computer systems, specifically looking at integration across the hardware and software boundaries to enable efficient mobile and Internet-scale computing. He has published well over 20 articles in peer-reviewed conferences and journals and received two Best Paper awards and three Top Picks awards in Computer Architecture. He is also well-known for his contributions to the widely used dynamic binary instrumentation tool called Pin.
