A Look at the Energy Situation

Part of Seminar Series: ECE Distinguished Lecture Series

Date: Wednesday, November 2, 2005
Time: noon
Location: ACES Auditorium, ACES 2.302

Dr. Brian Clark
Fellow
Schlumberger

Abstract

Energy is back in the news as high prices for gasoline, heating oil, and natural gas are catching people's attention. Mr. Clark's talk will cover some basic (but often poorly known) facts about today's energy supplies, and looks at what might be coming in the near future. The challenges by this problem are directly applicable to the PGE, ME, and ECE engineering domains.
