AbstractWhat does IBM Research envision the future of computing paradigms and technologies for the next one to two decades? We see a future in which advances in technology will enable a new class of computation systems, architected with people as an integral and central element of the process, to seamlessly enhance human cognition for better outcomes and a better life. We will go beyond increased storage, better search, and more complex analytics to systems that enable innovation and ingenuity. This talk will lay out the trends and vision for these "Frontiers of IT." |
