The ECE Department at UT Austin is one of the finest engineering programs in the world. This isn't just our opinion. It's fact. U.S. News and World Report ranks UT Austin's undergraduate computer engineering program as the eighth best in the country; the undergraduate electrical engineering program is ranked as the eleventh best program in the country. As a world-class establishment we have a lots to live up to, and we want to be even better.
We have an exciting new undergraduate curriculum in place for the 2010 Catalog. The ECE Department has 66 full-time faculty members and 20 part-time faculty who bring state-of-the-art research, development, and design experience into the classroom.
