I am a second year Master's student at the
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Department, University of Texas at Austin. I am a also a member of the Embedded Signal Processing Laboratory, and my advisor is Prof. Brian Evans.
Currently, as a research assistant I'm working on a real-time MIMO Discrete Multitone (DMT) Testbed that achieves the theoretical limit of double bit rate when using a 2x2 (2 transmitters, 2 receivers) configuration instead of 1x1, even in the presence of high cross-talk. Our paper on our modem was selected as one of the best papers at NI Week 2007, and won second place in the prototype and test category. Our work will also be presented at this year's Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers.
