I currently work in the Visualization and Data Analysis Group at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, where I develop graphical visualizations of scientific datasets. I'm also working on a remote visualization method using the VTK graphics library.
During the Fall of 2006 and the Summer of 2007 I worked at AMD as a software engineer in the Software Research and Design Group. There I developed low-level diagnostic software to aid in debugging new microprocessors.

I spent the Summer of 2006 at the McDonald Observatory in West Texas as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates program. During my time there I continued developing a new GUI for the Hobby-Eberly Telescope's Telescope Control System. I was also fortunate to witness some amazing observations while there, like this.
