Educational support of program components can include:
Bridge Scholars – program designed to prepare select, newly-admitted students for the rigors of college-level instruction to build a community of mutual support to succeed during the first year.
Edison Lecture Series – an interactive STEM learning experience engaging approximately 1500 middle and high school students with the fun side of electrical and computer engineering.
Move Forward – an early intervention program connecting academically “at-risk and in reach” undergraduate students to university resources at-large before reaching a point of academic crisis.

Additionally, at the College-level, we have two active, successful programs: the Women in Engineering Program and the Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program. Both seek to enhance the diversity within the Cockrell School by supporting and encouraging diversity of gender, culture, ideas, points of view and skills. The university also supports diversity through the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement.
