First, Dawei Huang will discuss the transition to Software 2.0 and share how SambaNova Systems is creating the new generation of AI computing through software and hardware co-design that allows deep learning applications to run orders of magnitude faster than traditional hardware. This will be followed up with breakout room sessions of casual Q&A with a few of our engineers where you can learn more about SambaNova Systems, get career advice or just socialize.

Dawei Huang received BS from Tsinghua University and MS from UCSD. He has 20+ years experience in high speed IO area from architecture to production. Prior to joining Sambanova in 2017, he was the lead architect for Oracle T3, M5/T5, M7/T7 and SN2 SERDEs and has 36 issued patents. Currently, he is Director of Engineering at Sambanova Systems. His responsibilities include but not limited to system architecture, IO subsystem design, performance tuning as well as AI for Science.
