Prof. Brian Evans Wins 2011 Texas Exes Teaching Award

UT ECE professor Brian Evans has been named the winner of the 2011 Texas Exes Teaching Award for the Cockrell School of Engineering. Established to encourage quality teaching. This award publicly recognizes individuals whose teaching and interactions with students have had an effective, positive influence on the lives and educational experience of students at The University of Texas at Austin.

Recipients are selected by student committees organized by student councils which are coordinated by the Cabinet of College Councils. Nominations are solicited from students and recommendations are submitted to the President of the Cabinet of College Councils who submits them to the Ex-Students' Association.

Dr. Brian L. Evans is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, and holds the Engineering Foundation Professorship in Engineering.
