Texas ECE graduate student Allen-Jasmin Farcas has been awarded the William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Award for 2025. The William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Award honors outstanding performance by graduate student academic employees.

Allen received the award for serving as the teaching assistant for the Machine Learning and Data Analytics for Edge AI course taught by Prof. Radu Marculescu. Prof. Marculescu nominated Allen for the award.

Allen-Jasmin Farcas is a 5th year Ph.D. student and a teaching assistant in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his BS from Politehnica University Timisoara in 2019.
