The Mid-Infrared Photonics group is a newly-established research group in the University of Texas Austin’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the UT Microelectronics Research Center (MRC).  Our group studies mid-IR and far-IR emitters, detectors, and photonic devices for applications in Defense and Security, Sensing, and Communications.
