Prof. Ananth Dodabalapur part of team awarded $2 million grant to develop atomically thin semiconductors

Texas ECE professor Ananath Dodabalapur is a part of a team that recently was awarded a grant of $2 million over the next four years from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to research and develop thin, flexible semiconductors that might eventually lead to bendable computer screens and wearable electronics.

Yale Patt Honored for Pioneering Contributions to Microprocessor Development

Yale Patt has been honored by The Franklin Institute with the 2016 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Computer and Cognitive Science. He is receiving the medal for his “pioneering contributions to the design of modern microprocessors that achieve higher performance by automatically identifying computer instructions that can be performed simultaneously.”
