Janice Williams Receives Recognition from Office of Services for Students with Disabilities

Janice Williams, Senior Academic Advisor for UT ECE undergraduates, has been recognized by the University of Texas at Austin Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) with a 2013 SSD Appreciation Award for positively contributing to the academic endeavors of our UT Austin students by "going above and beyond the call of duty to create an inclusive environment for all students at the university."

The ECE student who nominated Janice for the Fall 2013 SSD Appreciation Award wrote:

Over my 6 years at UT, Janice has been the most helpful person I have interacted with.  Her guidance in finding and registering with SSD has enabled me to continue making progress towards my degree.  She is an outstanding mentor, and I would highly recommend her for an SSD Appreciation Award.

As a token of appreciation, honorees receive an engraved clock at the end of each semester in appreciation of their efforts on behalf of those with disabilities.
