At Tenstorrent we focus on building high performance compute and the required ecosystem. This talk will focus on introducing High performing RISCV CPU and AI work at Tenstorrent. Specifically we will go over our high performance RISCV CPU design and it’s use cases in various market segments. We will start off with the single core CPU design and expand to how we put multiple cores together to build high performance systems that are very much needed to address the future market needs. We will touch base on our industry leading AI accelerators and how we integrate them with our high performing RISCV CPU’s. We will introduce Chiplets, our strategy around them.
Srikanth Arekapudi is currently a VP and Senior Fellow at Tenstorrent, where he leads the high performance RISCV CPU design team. He was one of the early employees at Cerebras systems and involved in the design of several aspects of Wafer Scale Engine for machine learning. Prior to that he was a Fellow at AMD where he was involved in design of high performance CPU’s. He has vast experience in Architecture, Micro-architecture, Design of high end CPU’s as well as Machine learning hardware. He received B.Tech., M.S. and D. Eng from National Institute of Technology Warangal India, University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Stanford University respectively.
