Yipeng Wang, a PhD student in Texas ECE, has been honored with the 2023-2024 Predoctoral Achievement Award by the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (IEEE SSCS) during the ISSCC 2024 conference. This award, presented annually to a small group of promising graduate students in related fields, recognizes research contributions, academic excellence, and potential for future success. 

Yipeng is also the SSCS Student Travel Grant Award (STGA) recipient for 2023-2024. As a member of the Circuit Research Lab in Texas ECE, Yipeng works under the guidance of Dr. Jaydeep Kulkarni. His research interests include digital and compute-in-memory circuit/accelerator/SoC designs for machine learning, graphics, and security applications. Yipeng was the recipient of the UT Cockrell School of Engineering Fellowship 2021 and the Apple Design Award 2022. He received his BS from Beihang University, Beijing in June 2020. He joined Texas ECE in 2021.
