HHM Student Profile: Eva Nance

Eva Nance is a junior in Texas ECE focusing on Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems. She serves as a mentor in the Texas ECE Partners program, and she was awarded a Texas Exes Laredo Chapter Scholarship and a 2020 Hispanic Heritage Youth Award. She is also a research assistant in the Integrated Nano Computing Lab. We sat down with Eva to learn more about her student experience in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Alumni Profile: Maria Cortez

Maria Cortez received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas ECE. After holding several leadership positions at Texas Instruments, she joined Advanced Energy as the Senior Vice President, Industrial Power Products in May 2022. We sat down with Maria to learn more about her experiences in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Student Profile: Alexa Blanco

Alexa Blanco started at Texas ECE in 2020 and is in the software Engineering Tech Core. She has served as Vice President and Chapter Director of the UT Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and she is a member of the Women in Engineering Program (WEP), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and served as the propulsion subsystem lead for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Austin (UAVA). She is a UT for Me Scholar and won the Mark and Kathy Papermaster Endowed Scholarship.
